Dr. Kimberly Smith-Dauterive is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician from St. Martinville, LA. She is the owner of JKL Healthcare Services, a private medical practice located in New Iberia LA, co-owner of Total Health and Wellness providing high-quality supplements including CBD as natural options for many medical issues, co-owner of PKD Housing Rentals, LLC. and co-founder of the Phillip Poppa Dauterive III Foundation created in honor of her 9-year-old son who was tragically taken from her and her family. She is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.

Dr. Smith received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1993 from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA; her Master of Science Degree in 1996 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, LA; and her Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2000 from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Smith shares a life-bond with Phillip Dauterive and the two will celebrate 15 years of marital bliss in June. She is the mother of Army Specialist James, Tulane Sophomore Leah and 2 Angels now residing in Heaven- Phillip III (a.k.a. "Poppa") and Mallory. Dr. Kim is also a motivator, nurturer and woman of God. She loves being an advocate for the well-being of her family and her patients and strives to fulfill her mission statement of healing the mind, body and soul.
